The body of a Japanese national has been after 1 and a half months

30 Nov 2013, Lamjung- The body of a Japanese national, who had gone missing in a blizzard that hit Manang district in October, has been recently found.
According to Manang Police, the deceased has been identified as 33-year old Kozi Inoviko with passport number TG 7870471. Kozi had gone missing after being caught in the blizzard on October 14 while he was heading towards Tilicho Lake from Tilicho Base Camp.

The body was recovered from Tilicho of Khangsar VDC-9 in the district. It has been sent to Kathmandu, says the police.
Manang Police Chief Rajendra Regmi says a team deployed from Border Police Post under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Jeevan Lama brought the body from Tilicho, which is at an altitude of around 5050 meters. The body was sent to Kathmandu on Saturday.
A total of nine tourists and five locals in Manang had gone missing in the blizzard. Of them, three Canadian nationals and three local shepherds are still missing.
