Jhapali Samaj Australia collects NPR 1.4 million

bbq30 Nov 2014, Sydney- Jhapali Samaj Australia is all set to organize ‘Jhapali Bhela with BBQ program 2014’ in Sydney with a slogan “Let’s get united for Jhapa”.
With an aim to increase brotherhood and to support the motherland, the program is going to be held on 24 August from 1pm to 5pm at Ashfield Park, Crn Parramatta road, Orpington Street.

Jhapali Samaj Australia has cordially invited all Nepalese residing in Australia hailing from Jhapa district of Nepal to attend the program.
Established 17 months ago, Jhapali Samaj Australia has been contributing a lot in various sectors for the development of Jhapa district. 
The society has been raising funds for the development of abode place and has been able to collect NPR 1.4 million so far. President of the society,  Mr Dinesh Pokharel told Nepali News Adelaide that they have been planning to raise 5 million to contribute on educational and infrastructure development of Jhapa district.
Society has so far contributed NPR 5 lakh and 18 thousands for establishment of cremation in  the Kankai river, donated NPR 2 lakh and 11 thousands to Jhapali ANFA cup winning football team, and given NPR 50 thousand to the SLC board first student of the last year. In the same way they have contributed educational equipment to Fulbari Secondary School stated in Chakchaki which worth around NPR 30 thousands.
They have played 'Deusi-Bhailo' on last Tihar and collected around NPR 1 million.
