No innocent person be troubled: Prez

-11 Feb 2015, Kathmandu - President Ram Baran Yadav has said that no innocent individualsshould be troubled while combating corruption.
Speaking at a programme organised during the 24th Anniversary of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) establishment, on Wednesday, President Yadav urged the commission to keep in mind individual’s respect and right.

“Let 100 criminals walk free,” President Yadav said drawing the attention of the anti-graft body, “But the CIAA must be watchful to ensure that no innocent person is caught.”
President Yadav advised the anti-graft body to bring the policy wise corruption under the purview of law. He suggested that the CIAA should work towards qualitative work rather thanquantitative one.
Similarly, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala drew the attention of CIAA chief Lok Man Singh Karki saying that he has been receiving complaints against CIAA's failure to take action against the big fish. Saying that the development funds weren’t being used advantageously, PM Koirala also urged the commission to be watchful that no innocent individual be troubled.
Meanwhile, Chief Commissioner Karki clarified that the anti-graft body hasn’t been biased in taking action against anyone. “If it is so, then please show us,” he said, “We will move aheadmending our mistakes.”
The CIAA Chief assured that the CIAA will take against any big or small corrupt individuals,committing to be watchful that no innocent individual is dragged into trouble like the PM and President pointed out.
