‘Stop making remarks over Nepal’s internal affairs’

Thapa.17 DEC 2014, Kathmandu- Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N), Kamal Thapa , has urged the external forces to refrain from making controversial remarks over Nepal's internal affairs.
Addressing a religious assembly organised by RPP-N Kathmandu constituency-5 here in the Capital on Tuesday, Chairman said the issue of whether or not to include conversion of religion in the forthcoming
constitution is entirely Nepal's domestic affairs and so no outsider should be making comments about it. He was referring to the recent controversial remark made by British Ambassador to Nepal Andrew J Sparkes.
Ambassador Sparkes, in his recent opinion piece on an English daily, had called on the Constituent Assembly members of Nepal to ensure in new constitution that the people’s rights to changereligion and express their opinions are protected.
Also on the occasion, Chairman Thapa announced that his party is going to organise a Mechi-Mahakali chariot procession from December 24 as per its campaign to reinstate Nepal as a Hindu state.
Also speaking at the programme, Dharma Guru Dr Rudranath Adhikari said wrong publicity ofreligion in the name of religious freedom was creating chaos in the country.
