I don't have to respond to mentally ill remarks: Oli

Oli
5 Feb 2015, kathmandu - CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the UCPN (Maoist) to take part in the constitution drafting process as it is time to institutionalise the achievements made so far.
Saying that it is not the time to talk about revolution, Oli maintained that the Maoists must have understood that anger is self destructive.programme organised by Press Chautari in theCapital on Thursday, Oli said the constitution process will be drafted
through consensus. “Constitution is not possible without consensus. It will be drafted through consensus as we [NC and UML] don’t have a clear majority,” he said.
Hinting towards the opposition parties' remarks that he was 'mentally ill' on Wednesday, Oli said he doesn’t have to respond to such remarks. “People gave a good response to the oppositions in second CA elections. I don’t have to respond to it,” he said.
Oli said that January 19 talks among the parties were positive towards drafting the constitution on January 22 deadline. However, consensus efforts derailed after UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal attended the meeting of 19 opposition parties, Oli said.
“Prachanda was positive during talks with me. He exited saying that he would attend the 19-party meet and return. I was hopeful of consensus. But it turned out that Dahal had gone toprepare for the vandalism in the CA building during that meeting,” Oli said.
