Nepal lose to Kenya by 5 wickets

- 23 Jan 2015, Kathmandu - Nepal lost to Kenya by five wickets in their fifth match in the ICC WorldCricket League Division 2 at Windhoek, Namibia on Friday.
The five time World Cup participant Kenya achieved the 195 runs target posted by Nepal in 35 overs losing its five wickets.
Sent in to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal were all out for 194 in 49.5 overs.

Man of the match Irfan Karim top scored for Kenya with 75 runs off 94 balls while Rakep Patel smashed 56 off 51 balls and Alex Obanda 45 off 51 balls.
Kenya achieved the run rate of 5.57 runs per over against 3.89 runs per over of Nepal side.
Nepali bowlers Karan KC, Basanta Regmi and Sagar Pun claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, Gyanedra Malla (not-out) displayed his batting prowess, smashing home highest 91 runs off 116 balls, while captain Paras Khadka made 20 off 46 balls, Sharad Vesawkar 18 off 46 balls and Binod Bhandari 16 off 23 balls.
This is the second loss to Nepal in its five matches played in ICC WCL Division 2 tournament. Nepal had lost its first match played with Uganda by two runs. Nepal had obtained successivevictories in three previous matches against the Netherlands, Canada and Namibia.
